PHOTOSHOP HALP PLZ.

Hokay. So basically I'm making a collage banner. I've taken a heap of pics from the Internet, and have cut them out using the pen tool. After cutting them out with the pen tool, I copied them (one at a time), and then pasted them onto their own document. I saved them. Now, I'm moving onto the stage where I move the pictures onto the banner. However, whenever I select it, they paste with a white background, even through I've set it to be transparent. Do I need to cut them out again, just to select them individually? Dx
