First, watch SIGN Then, read XXXX While reading XXXX, watch Liminality (optional i guess) Then, watch/read Legend of the Twilight (the anime and manga are totally different, but LotT is completely optional anyway since it isn't canon) Then, watch Roots Then, read G.U.+ / watch G.U. Trilogy Then, read LINK: Twilight Knights

But it's adorable so your argument is invalid. WATCH IT ANYWAY
Also it would be better for those with ps2 to play the games, especially G.U. since the manga is kinda different. PLUS YOU GET TO MARRY HASEO. YOU CAN'T DO THAT IN THE MANGA.
