All over it comes

Now it begins again

This is the face I see

What is this reoccurrence?

It’s all over, suffocating my thoughts

How much I have tried to banish you

My cowardice is catching up to me

Leave me alone for I am spent

Why do the Fates plot against me?

Is this my destiny

To relive this age-old pain?

My cries are just bouncing off your eyes

Why do you keep looking?

I have nothing else for you

I know that my face is bare

And that my words are hollow

I’m drowning in hypocrisy as the lake pulls me under

Covered in stone, but cry inside

I question why this keeps repeating

I only wanted to rest, but you follow anyway

I’ve had enough of your eyes

Why does God play this cruel game with me?

Am I just a toy that has not yet fulfilled his whims?

Or yours?

I’m just running around in circles

Why won’t it end now? Am I not done?

They all look at me, thinking they have deciphered my face

Such fools who make assumptions

This is something that no words can ease

My cure has fallen from me

Just like before when I saw it that time

My sanity slowly slips away as it had once before

Where has my salvation gone?

Is this all I have?

I’m just running around in circles

This was all predestined

My damn heart is slowly breaking

My path stands before me and I cannot pull away

Your pure eyes are crying

Do not mourn for the dead

For even though I’m standing here

I am drained of it all

From that first day, the Fates had me

God is watching his toy

Now comes my final exodus
