Okay. Firstly, let me explain.
Kiri, Tay and I were in a random mood. So, we had a random RP. This wasn't planned, but meh. xD It was set in a courtroom. Basically, Kiri was the Prosecutor, Tay the Judge, and I the DA (Defense Attorney).
My idea is this: a courtroom RP TOURNAMENT.
Let me explain how this works.
Firstly, everyone who wants to be involved, posts some OCs. THREE MAXIMUM. One must be a judge, and the others a DA and Prosecutor. When enough are involved, the tournament will begin. The tournament will take the shape of a tennis tournament. If you don't know what this is, have a look at this:
Hopefully you understand what I mean, now. Anyway, each section is like a court case - a case summary will be written (by me), and each case will be assigned a Prosecutor, DA and judge. Each case would then get its own thread, and the RP could begin. BE WARNED, THE RPS ARE FOR EVERYONE TO READ, BUT ONLY FOR THE PROSECUTOR AND THE DA TO POST ON. When 'time' is called by me, all cases running at that time should STOP immediately. Any posts made after this call will not be counted. Despite how this sounds, this does NOT require for everyone to be on at the same time. Each case will run for approximately three days (although cases from the same round will run at the same time). After time is called, the judges assigned to the cases will make their verdict on who convinced them the most. Whoever won will progress to the next round, where a new case will be assigned, as well as a new opponent. This will continue until the last round. In the last round, the judge makes up 45% of the Guilty/Not Guilty verdict. The other 55% is made up by the 5 members of the jury, who will be selected. Then, a winner will be selected. There will be a prize, but I don't know what, yet. xDDDD
This also might be a good thing, as it could allow people to get a little anger and frustration out.
I will now explain the roles of each position:
PROSECUTOR: Your client is the victim(s). Your job is to get the accused convicted of their crime.
DA: You client is the accused(s). Your job is to defend them.
JUDGE: Your job is easy. Wait until 'time' is called, and then read over the RP that you were assigned to. Whichever side convinces you the most, you will declare the winner.
HOWEVER: Be warned - any witness you call, as well as your client, is you! You will respond in at least three POVs throughout the case.
Does this all make sense, so far?
I will be competing as well. Here are my Courtroom OCs:
The Honourable Cecil John Smith
Judge in the Court of Law
Nobody really knows how old he is. He looks at least 100. He likes to perv on random people (women, men, machines, YOU NAME IT) and doesn't really pay attention in court. Is known for his pants that magically point at people when he comes back from the bathroom.
Wun Hung Lo (get it? Read it aloud. xDDDD)
DA in the court of law
Specialises in rape cases, and likes to call random television/movie characters to the stand. Somehow finds a way to get his clients cleared although he uses some strange methods.
Brody Lamad
Prosecutor in the court of law
Has never lost a case in his four-year career. He is very professional, and seems to pull the truth out of the accused - or do it for them.

If you have any questions, just post here. ^^
PS: The :zomgobjection:, :cakelie:, :nobody:, :ORLY?:, :YARLY:, :objectionplz:, :overruled: and
smilies, are very useful in these court cases. xDDDDDD
RULEZ
Yes, we all hate them, but I think you'll find these quite good. ;)
1) I don't care what you do to get your point across. Say that someone was murdered in the case - you can call an aeroplane in as a witness for all I fucking care. xDDDD Just, PLEASE remember the point you are trying to get across.
2) Please don't post on the cases you aren't involved with before 'time' is called. After time, you can post on it all you like. ^^
3) Don't abuse the judge's decision. One judge might judge on the basis of how many facts there are, whereas another might judge in the way of how many crazy witnesses you call in.
4) Although this is a good way to let some anger out, please don't take it too far.
5) You MUST call at least one witness.
