Spanish...Sexist? o.O

Seriously, wtf?
People in my school, mainly girls, are accusing the Spanish language of being 'Sexist', and just because the masculine forms of words are used more often than the femenine forms.
I seriously wanna go tell them off.
Spanish has existed for /hundreds/ of years.
And in most countries women have not had rights for even 100 years. A great example is the US.
In some countries women don't even have rights!
/That's/ sexist, not a freakin' language.
You can't just change a language that's existed for hundreds of years!
So how the hell can it be sexist?

And, yeah, tell them if they want to protest against something sexist, look at what the Taliban did in Afghanistan, and look at like, Saudi Arabia.

hell, english and even japanese have masculine and feminine forms, but do you want to call japanese sexist since there's only one feminine form of the word "i" (watashi) but two masculine (boku and ore)?
