How to Add Friends on Steam for Free

1. Go to this website: http://forum.cdaction.pl/index.php?act=Reg&CODE=00
   
2. Create an account and activate it
   
3. Find a Polish proxy and set your browser up to use it
   
4. Log in
   
5. Go to this page: http://www.cdaction.pl/seriale/Dark_Messiah_of_Might_and_Magic
   
6. You should get a message saying "Numer do gry Dark Messiah Might and Magic wysłany został na address EMAIL@WHATEVER.com."
   
7. Check your e-mail for a key for the game "Dark Messiah of Might and Magic"
   
8. Log into Steam
   
9. Click Games > Activate a product on Steam
   
10. Enter the code you were given when prompted
    
11. ????
    
12. PROFIT!!!!
    

of course, this also gets you a free game, but i haven't even downloaded it lol

and this has nothing to do with adding friends lol

you need to buy something on steam (as in, not counting free games) in order to send friend requests. this gives you a code for a purchased game.
